A note about late cancellations:
After having an extremely lenient late cancellation and no-show policy for the past year and a half (to encourage mitigating the spread of COVID-19 and to not financially burden our clients for playing it safe when feeling ill), I have altered our policy to begin to charge for ALL late cancellations.
Almost daily we have clients that call one hour before their appointment time to cancel, and refuse to abide by our policy: threatening to leave bad reviews, being extremely rude to our front desk staff, and demanding exceptions to our rule. Short notice cancellations place a huge financial burden on our small business, and frankly sucks for our staff that relies on clients to show up so that they can earn a living.
I get it. Things come up. Plans and schedules change. Sometimes you wake up feeling ill, ate something bad the night before, or you have car/transportation issues that are no fault of your own. As a person and business, I want to be understanding. But after the strenuous 2 years we’ve had as a business we can no longer afford to continue to make exception after exception—despite the very valid reasons you may have for not being able to make your appointment.
Starting March 15th, 2022 we will be enforcing our late cancellation/no show policy—no exceptions. If you are unable to accept our policies, please refrain from booking with our studio, as we take our policies seriously and do enforce them. Thanks for reading, and feel free to reach out with any questions.
